Thread Lifts

BOOK THIS TREATMENT

A thread lift is a fast, minimally invasive cosmetic technique that lifts and tightens sagging skin by inducing collagen production. Once placed under the skin, the threads produce a visible lifting effect

Nova PDO Threads

PDO Threads are hypodermic needles that contain absorbable polydioxanone (PDO) sutures, which play an important role in this non-surgical facelift procedure. PDO threads are used for cardiothoracic surgery and as such, are one of the safest materials to insert in the body. With the absorption capabilities of these, PDO threads dissolve within the body after 4-6 months following your non-surgical face-lifting session.

There are two types of procedures with PDO Threads. The first one, using smooth threads, creates a mesh under the skin. This mesh will serve as the foundation for new collagen production. This technique tightens the skin naturally from within.

The other technique (using barbed threads) delivers a more dramatic and immediate result. The PDO sutures have ‘barbs’ that provide a grip underneath the skin. The sutures are inserted the same way, except that they can be pulled in one or two directions, creating an instant skin repositioning.

Benefits:

  • Visibly Lifts And Tightens Skin

  • Stimulates Collagen Production

  • Reduced Fine Lines And Wrinkles

  • Enhances Overall Skin Tone

Silhouette Threads

It’s NOT a filler, it’s NOT your typical thread – it’s Silhouette InstaLift and it’s in a class of its own! Silhouette InstaLift is dual-action, advanced, micro-suspension technology. It uses tiny 360° ‘cones’ made from PLLA (Polylactic acid) to anchor and suspend sagging skin and build collagen. Awarded the prestigious 2018 New Beauty Magazine breakthrough award, it’s been popular in Europe and South America for years.

The Polylactic acid, the main component of Silhouette Soft® is a well-known polymer that has been used for many years in a number of biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. It has a long history of use as resorbable device, a drug delivery system and in surgery – in particular in orthopaedic fixation devices such as pins, rods and screws. It is also a key material in the development of tissue engineering.

Benefits:

  • Resist suspension traction

  • Retighten effectively the tissues

  • Strong anchorage in subcutaneous tissue

“After celebrating my 60th birthday, I knew I was ready for a change. I wasn’t quite ready for plastic surgery, but knew I had to do something.  This procedure was great for me as the results were immediate.  It really tightened up my skin that had begun to sag.”
