Project Description

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Stimulate Collagen Formation Using The Natural, Healing Components Of The Body.

Primarily consisting of a liquid (called plasma), blood also contains small solid components such as red cells, white cells and platelets. The role of the platelets is to clot blood.  In addition, platelets also contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors that are very important in the healing of injuries. PRP is plasma with many more platelets than what is typically found in the blood.

To achieve this rich concentration of platelets, blood must be drawn from the patient and put through a process of centrifugation which separates the platelets from the other blood. The increased concentration of platelets is then combined with the remaining blood.  The PRP can then be used in conjunction with treatments such as microneedling, facials, injectables and threading to increase their effectiveness.  PRP can also be used to treat thinning hair and hair loss.

  • Improves Tone And Texture Of The Skin

  • Increases The Production Of New Collagen

  • Helps Induce Cell & Tissue Regeneration

  • Softens Fine Lines And Tightens Skin

“I had to try the PRP with microneedling after seeing so much of it on Instagram.  There was some swelling and redness immediately following the procedure however by the next day, things had settled down.  My skin now feels so smooth and soft. I love the way it looks and hope to make this procedure part of my routine.”
